This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
